Facts about Federico Garcia Lorca tell us about the notable theater director, playwright and poet from Spain. He was born on June 5th, 1898 and died on August 19th, 1936. He was born as Federico del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús García Lorca. He was a member of a group called Generation of ’27.  The group introduced surrealism, futurism and symbolism in Europe into the Spanish literature.
